Idiot of the Day: Sister Toldjah

By VictorM: There is no way of knowing how old Sister Toldjah is, but from the actual writing and lack of understanding about global warming my guess is that this right-winger is a pre-teen: "LOL! If I’m not mistaken, this has also happened to Al Gore in the last couple of years. He gave a gw speech in the middle of a really bad snow storm. Delish. This was also posted at Drudge: SAVE IT FOR A SUNNY DAY: Maryville Univ. in St. Louis area cancelling screening of Al Gore’s ‘Inconvenient Truth’ because of a snowstorm. Heh." Hey, you want to buy into ExxonMobil's talking points, fine, but even they understand that global warming produces imbalances that will result in some places getting colder and experiencing more storms. Is this person too stupid to understand that? The answer is, Yes!

ExxonMobil paid to mislead public

By VictorM: Britain's Royal Society had asked ExxonMobil to stop its support for groups that "misrepresented the science of climate change." Now, the Union of Concerned Scientists accuses the same company of "coordinated effort to mislead the public by discrediting the science behind global warming." Frankly, given the way corporations operate it's no surprise ExxonMobil places profits above lives. The bigger question is why we still have a few bozos around willing to repeat the distortions and misrepresentations. I guess "stupidity" is as good an answer as any.
