“I can be picky and you may just be the game.”
M. Oconnell, 31, in Ohio: I met this gentleman, we will call him John, about 2 months ago. We have had 2 dates so far and things are going great! He has told me he really does like me and I really do like him as well. However in a recent conversation, done by an online messenger service as we couldn’t talk on the phone (my phone was dead) he said and I quote
“I can be picky and you may just be the game.”
I didn’t get the chance to ask him what he meant as his computers battery was dieing and it was very late in the evening. Now I am unsure if that is “slang” for something or not. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
VictorM: I can’t be sure of what he meant, but to me when someone is “game,” it means they’re interesting and challenging, things that someone who is picky would look for. I think he was paying you a compliment and letting you know that you’re keeping his interest.
