Goosebumps
By VictorM:Call me lame, call me corny, but this speech gave me goosebumps. In just a little over 8 minutes, Republican Jim Leach explains why he's voting for Barack Obama. And if you have any brains, why you should too. The clarity of thought, when compared to so many TV pundits, is startling:

I dunno - I don't like all his calls for bipartisanship. When the Republicans say this, I hear "we get to dick you around all we want, but when you get the ball we're going to cry that you don't play fair. Boo-hoo".
I don't want cooperation with the Republicans after 8 years of their screw-ups. I want revenge. I want them crushed, marginalized; exiled to the bowels of the capitol building, like they did to the Democrate in 2000-2004. I want them thrown on the trash pile of history. Fuck them. Fuck them all.

Actually, I feel much the same way you do, so I won't argue with your words, but I don't see Obama being the guy to do it. Biden? Maybe, but not Obama, which is why I favored Hillary early on.

Yeah, I liked Hillary better, but ya gotta play with the cards you get dealt. I would've liked the "2 for 1" aspect of getting the experience of Bill along with Hil. But, as my new bumpersticker says: "Another Republican? Are you INSANE?"
