Five years
By VictorM:Today marks the 5th anniversary of the Iraq war. A war of choice. A rotten decision. An American disaster. A criminal act. The single biggest mistake in American foreign policy. And basically the same amount of troops are still there. Still dying. Still killing. Still wasting billions of dollars. Gross mismanagement. Massive corruption. Tons of lies. And still far too many Americans support its criminal mastermind, George W. Bush. And Osama bin Laden is still alive. And there's no end in sight. Another 100 years, if McCain wins and has his way.

Oh, God; if I wasn't depressed a minute ago, I am now.
In my opinion, anyone who would vote Republican after 8 years of Bush and Cheney is either brain dead or hates America.
So: either institutionalize them or kick their asses for being unpatriotic scum.

Single biggest mistake? One could argue that our involvement in Vietnam tops Iraq. But as far as a foreign policy decision that has caused more damage to our international reputation while simultaneously destroying a country and its society in the fewest years possible? That would be Iraq.
