Argentina violence

SoccerBy VictorM:

Reading about the incidents of violence in Argentinian soccer is like watching two trains on the same track going in opposite direction -- you know it's not going to end well.

I'm just a casual observer, but just from watching a couple of games this weekend, I can see the same lack of security concerns in the stands that were visible in England when they went through their problems with hooligans years ago.

England pretty much solve their situation to the point that English Premiership games are devoid of crowd problems these days. Argentina needs to do the same. They have a blue print to solve the situation (although you have to wonder if they don't use it because it's an English blue print), but Argentinian authorities seem to be sleep walking as the problems escalate.
