The cult of Russ Feingold
By VictorM:The greatest US Senator on the land had been reluctant to endorse any Democratic candidate but now, even without an official endorsement, Russ Feingold has sent a strong signal:
Sen. Russ Feingold said today that he voted for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama in this week's Wisconsin primary and indicated that he likely will vote for Obama's nomination as one of the state's "superdelegates" to the Democratic convention this summer.I'm still willing to support either of the two Democratic candidates, but Russ Feingold's views carry a lot of weight with me. And I'm not the only one:
Feingold is the reason I dropped my support for Edwards, so I'm glad to see he and I are on the same page with respect to Obama.
I agree 100%. There is no one in government that I too respect more than Senator Feingold and his endorsement seals the deal for me!
I know the world does not work this way, but I wish he could be veep.
