... but is the allegation true?
By VictorM:About the allegations by the New York Times that senator John "Bush's 3rd term" McCain had improper relations with a lobbyist... His defenders say the New York Times is a liberal newspaper that will do anything to get Obama or Hillary elected. Even if that's true, the question remains... but is the allegation true?

Yes. But I don't think it's a hit job by the NYT. Worst case scenario? I think it's a hit job from the neocons. Karl *cough* Rove. Best case scenario? That the McCain campaign released the info early enough in the campaign for it to blow over before the Dems pick a candidate. Dems really can't ahhh attack him right now, can they?
