Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee

Well, that's if you believe the Republican party. They have started their typical coordinated attacks on Barack. The newest piece of garbage being floated by their rumor mill and picked up by a too willing mainstream media is that Barack is not patriotic enough:

Sen. Barack Obama's refusal to wear an American flag lapel pin along with a photo of him not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem led conservatives on Internet and in the media to question his patriotism.

I'm serious. I know it sounds like material from The Onion, but it's not.
