Idiot of the Day: Richard Cohen
By VictorM: So why has Bush been such an abysmal failure? According to Richard Cohen it's because he's too liberal. I kid you not:Years ago, someone coined the term "neoliberal." I was never sure what it meant, and it has since fallen into disuse, but whatever the case, I'd like to revive (and mangle) the term and apply it -- brace yourself -- to George W. Bush. He's more liberal than you might think.If you read the whole piece, which quite clearly sheds a strong light on Bush's failures, the author dabbles on the topic of incompetence with some of Bush's nominees, but refuses to apply the same reason to the top guy's decisions.
This is one of the dumbest opinion pieces I have read in a while.

You are right, Cohen is an idiot. He should know better.
Dubya may have a couple of corporatized liberal-ish tendencies, but they pale against the big bubble of arch-conservatism.
