A Sad Display by Mexico's Soccer Team
By VictorM: The United States beat Mexico 2-0 fair and square. Oh, sure, luck was involved and during most stretches if the match Mexico played better and created more chances. But in the end, they lost yet again to a team that was younger and less experienced. I can understand their frustration but there is no excuse for not shaking hands with the American players after the game. This showed a terrible lack of class and was a pathetic display by the team and their management. They are going to have to get used to the idea of losing to the United States -- it's going to happen very frequently.

Donovan did do that. He said he doesn't regret it because "when you gotta go, you gotta go." If this is the reason, they don't have to shake his hand, but they could, and should, shake hands with the other players.
But I don't buy that reason anyway. I think it's a reflection from the top, and it's sad. Hugo Sanchez is proving to be as big an asshole as he was a great player (the best player ever from Central/North America, in my opinion).

Donovan has no Respect. His excuse is bs, he could have easily gone to the restroom.
But I do agree with you about Hugo Sanchez, half of Mexico does not like him for this reason. He began to be like this since late in his career as a player.

Seriously, if a Mexican player was seen peeing in a practice field in New Jersey, would Americans be offended because hes insulting American soil? Of course not. That Mexicans took Donovan's peeing on a practice field as some kind of insult to their homeland is bizarre!
