Idiot of the Day: Joel Achenbach
By VictorM: In an opinion piece in the Washington Post commenting on the Oscar's TV show, Joel Achenbach says: "I've always hated myself for watching an entire Oscar telecast, and this morning hate myself more than usual. It's four hours of punishment." I'm so sick of stupid idiots saying this crap every year. Year after year these people say the same damn thing. Shut the hell up and stop complaining about a format that has been around for decades, has seen few tweaks, and it is what it is. Next year will be the same as this year. Plan a trip to Jamaica, jerk. The Oscar show is about glitz, fashion, some boring speeches, it lasts close to four hours, blah, blah, blah... see, I already wrote next year's Oscar show review for the Washington Post.
