The Second Coming of Jesus Christ in 2007

By VictorM: According to this AP poll, 25% of the American people anticipate the second coming of Jesus Christ in 2007. I wonder... how severely would these 25% ridicule anyone making the claim that he is Jesus Christ, particularly if he came back still preaching the same things, like: turning the other cheek, the slim prospects of the rich entering the kingdom of heaven, and protecting homosexuals asking for the first person who has never sinned to shoot the first bullet. How long before he would be called a traitor for declaring that torture and war are not Christian values? How would those 25% accept him if he looked remotely close to what he looked like the last time? How many miracles would they demand he perform to be convinced, and how many of them would still claim he's just slightly better than David Copperfield?
