Spotting

Celeste, 34 from Florida asks...
I am 8 weeks pregnant and I am having a little bit of bleeding about the same time I would have my period. Is that bad?

Stacy Says...
Spotting is normal throughout pregnancy. I had to wear a pantyliner, pretty much everyday. Bright red bleeding or clots accompanied by abdominal pain or back pain should be seen by a doctor, but other than that--all normal. Being around the time you would have your period--just a coincidence.
