Margaret Cho's Not Going Anywhere!

I've been a fan of Margaret Cho ever since I saw her live show in Albuquerque a few years ago. What I love about her is how she says exactly what's on her mind and how she doesn't filter her opinions. After taking on the media industry, the image of what a woman should look like, and all the "phobes" and "ists" (homophobes, racists, etc.) she's now taking on the powers that be, politically as well as economically.

In her latest book, I Have Chosen To Stay And Fight, Margaret definitely gets more political. I love how she goes after Ann Coulter, George W. Bush, and Rush Limbaugh. Mind you, these are easy targets, and not overly loveable as far as Republicans go. She also comments on people she loves, an unlikely list of women that include Courtney Love and Martha Stewart.

If you want to see how the other side lives, take a walk in someone else's shoes, I highly recommend Margaret's platforms. This is a woman who could use a good pair of purple Doc Martens to kick shit around in. She is a comedian to be taken seriously.

Comments:
cool. I'll check it out next time I'm wandering around the bookstore.
