I suggest you first go to the How it Works page. It has a nice graphical representation of the options available (either as a Helper or Looker). It also includes the links to register.
Once you register you can take a "FREE PhD-certified TrueMatch personality test".
If you add a photo, be aware that it must be approved and won't show for a while (they say 24 to 48 hours).

i tried but the site is too confusing so i gave up. what the hell is the point of helping people you never met by writing stories about them? i don't get that
I use this site but I haven't met anyone worth spending 20 bucks. When I do, I'll let y'all know! The point is that you write stories about people you KNOW, not people you don't know. I've written a few stories and asked my friends for some stories. So far so good.
